So day 13, I think. I’ve lost count. So I think… Yes, it is day 13. Wow. I am exhausted today. I was up at 3:00 AM with my thoughts on the business and I’ve just woken up again and it’s now 7:30, and I’ve got to get to Body Pump by 8:40. My brain is saying, “Go back to bed.” My body is saying, “Do it. Because you’re going to feel a lot better afterwards.” But the actual pushing yourself to the limits is the most hardest part of this journey. Having to get up, start your car, get in your car, drive all the way to Farnham and then come home.
But I can guarantee you, as soon as you come home, you will feel like a million dollars and you’ll want to do it all again. And then you won’t want to go back to bed. So you’ve got to realize what’s going to happen to you, is you’re going to change in the next 25 minutes if you get up off your butt and get going. Do your thing and make it happen. Because if you don’t, you’re going to feel even worse. And you’ll sit there and wonder why you’re not losing weight or you’re not doing well, or you’re not getting [inaudible 00:01:52] not any step closer to your goals. So please take the time to think about your future self, even if you don’t want to go in the present self.
Does that make sense? So you almost have to time travel to think about where you will be in 40 minutes’ time or an hour’s time, feeling fabulous after you’ve just done your workout. I’m going to have the best day, after this, of laziness and just chilling out with my husband and making the time go nicely by not doing a damn thing. Usually, I’m sitting in my business doing my social media constantly. But today… Last night I was sitting in bed at 3:00 AM or on the kitchen table, thinking about why I am doing all this social media work and changing things up when it’s working the way it is.
So all the efforts we’ve done in the last week, have been slightly changed back to the way it was. So sometimes you have to go full circle to realize that you’re actually in a very good place already. It’s very difficult setting your own business up. It’s difficult running your own business. It’s difficult understanding what your client wants. So when someone can let me know how you do this, even though I self-study every single day, and I worry and think about things every single day, about how I can create a better solution for my clients, a better program for my clients, a better way to help them.
It’s very important that we understand that just being yourself is enough sometimes. Because putting all this effort in is just going to burn you out. So make sure you take the time to plan, execute. If it doesn’t work, go back to the plan and maybe just take your time, just enjoying what you’ve created instead of trying to change what you’ve created. Have a lovely day, and I’ll see you all tomorrow. Take care.
