So, day 10. I’ve missed day nine on purpose because nothing significant happened. I done my body pump, I weighed in, I ate half my body weight and it was so voiding hot in the day that I was just dragging myself around the house. Haven’t got a lot of incentive to go to the gym this morning but I will, even though it’s already, probably, over 20 degrees. We are just having the time of our lives with this weather but it seriously plays havoc with you when you’re trying to train.
So I’ve weighed in this morning and I’m now higher than ever, which is absolutely fine. But I know that my body is changing. So it’s working out as what she told me, she said, “It’s all going to plan.” So I’m taking her word for it because imagine if it didn’t work and I had to lose all this weight, that’s what scares me about weight training, you’ve got to deflate if you come away from it and that’s just like giving up, going on a diet again. So it’s a funny world to be in and I love it, but it’s all such a challenge which is good for me because challenges are everything to me. I just enjoy them so much.
So this is definitely a challenge, that’s for sure. But it’s worthwhile because I can see the benefits that it’s giving me daily. The fact that I’ve got more energy, the fact that I’m usually sleeping better. Last night I didn’t sleep because I had so much on my mind for the business. Because we’ve got so many business plans that I’m too… It’s like Christmas every day when you become an entrepreneur, you just want to bring so much to the table for clients and friends and you just want to help people grow their businesses. And it’s just a real pleasure to be in that situation where you can learn so much. My brain loves to learn for some reason. I wish I had this when I was in my 20s, I might have actually become a professor, which I’ve always wanted to be, a doctor, but unfortunately time and circumstances didn’t give me that.
So now I’m making up for it and doing as many things as I possibly can while I can. So I made a promise to myself that I would be leaner and then shape by the time I’m 50. So I’ve got three years to smash this. And who knows? It might even end up in competition. But at the moment, I’m just literally getting toned up. And getting up and going to the gym at seven o’clock in the morning, which is unheard of for many or even earlier, is a challenge in itself. But we’re doing it. I’m just putting my shoelaces on my, new trainers. I’ve got some new gear to come. Because if you’re going to do something, you’ve got to look the part for your mindset. So all my training gear is coming and I hope it’ll put me in a bit more of a focus to lift heavier weights.
Yesterday I lifted an extra two keys on my body pump, but yesterday and the day before is my actual rest days. So today, I’m doing glutes. Today I am going to hurt my bottom because after I’ve done my glutes, I can’t really walk in the afternoon very well, it’s quite difficult. So I’ve got to push higher than I did last week. So, I’m going to leave it here for now. I’ve got a beautiful, exciting part of the journey of the Health Fairy coming out. So, really exciting time, Sarah is doing all the videos and cooking for me again which is so exciting. And I’m concentrating on getting out as many online courses as I can for beauty therapists, and then I’m going to coach them.
