My Story
Hey, I am Sarah. I hope you relate to this story I am about to tell. It has been a troubled past filled with emotional and physical abuse. These experiences had scarred me in ways I didn’t know how to deal with. But instead of letting my past dictate my life, I decided to take charge of my own story.
I left my old life behind after running away from my abusive partner and job and home, and embarked on a journey of self-discovery. I constantly had to work to keep going but I soon met new people and discovered ways to build my confidence again. I tried healthier approaches and learned new techniques and tricks to improve my health and mindset.
Having had many adventures along the way, I finally met a great soulmate, now her husband. As I rediscovered my life, I realised that she wasn’t alone. There were many others out there with similar stories of abuse and trauma. But rather than letting them experiences define them, they aslo too had decided to take control of their lives.
I learned that the key to overcoming trauma was not to forget or erase it, but to acknowledge it and use it as a catalyst for growth. I started writing my story, hoping that it would inspire others who had gone through similar experiences.
When I finally made my house my home, I was a changed woman. I had gained a new perspective on life and was no longer afraid to speak the truth. I used my voice to speak out against abuse and to help others who were struggling.
In sharing my own story, I found a sense of healing and purpose. I created a community women who supported each other through their various struggles. And I continued to live my life to the fullest, unafraid of whatever challenges comes my way.
My story teaches us that life experiences, whether good or bad, shape us into who we are. It’s up to us to decide how we use those experiences to define our own story. Abuse may have scarred me but it didn’t break me. Instead, it created a stronger, smarter and more compassionate woman who goes on living her life unafraid of what the future may hold, forgiving her perpetrators and letting go of pain and fears.

FORGIVENESS
Forgiveness is one of the ways I always truly believed I could overcome my fears. Unlocking your full potential requires you to identify your goals, strengths, weaknesses and limiting beliefs, and forgiveness is key to your freedom from your past.

KINDNESS
Kindness is the act of showing generosity, empathy, compassion, and benevolence towards others. It is a virtue that aims to benefit others without expecting anything in return. Kindness can be expressed in various ways, from simple gestures like saying “thank you” and holding doors open for others, to more significant acts like volunteering for a cause or donating to charity. Being kind is not just good for the recipients of one’s kindness, but it also has positive effects on the person performing the act. Kindness has been shown to reduce stress, improve mental health and well-being, and increase overall happiness. There are many ways to cultivate kindness, such as consciously looking for opportunities to help others, practising empathy, and treating others with respect and dignity. Ultimately, kindness is an essential component of building strong and healthy relationships with others, creating a positive impact in society, and making the world a better place.

I am always going to aim to unlock your full potential, but this requires identifying your goals, strengths, weaknesses, and limiting beliefs. With dedication, persistence, and a willingness to learn, you can overcome obstacles, reach your full potential, and become the best version of yourself.
