Party food sausage & chorizo rolls
400g prime pork sausages skins removed
90g chorizo finely diced
5 sun dried tomatoes finely diced
1 tsp dried oregano
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp milk
320g Puff pastry (shop bought if you don’t fancy making it)
2tbsp sesame seeds
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees
In a bowl, mix together your sausages, chorizo, tomatoes & oregano. Season with black pepper.
Mix your egg yolk and milk in a small bowl.
Roll your pastry out to roughly 25x35cm and cut in half longways.
Divide your sausage mixture in 2 and roll into sausage shapes the same length as your pastry.
Pop them on your pastry, roll the pastry over and seal with your egg wash.
Slice into small bite sized sausage rolls, roughly 5 or 6cm wide.
Transfer to a non stick baking sheet, brush over with egg wash and sprinkle on your sesame seeds, bake for 25-30 minutes depending on how big you cut them.
